Capitol Communicator’s PR Summit DC 2019 was a highly anticipated full-day event addressing the disruptive convergence of communications, technology and media.
The event was a hotbed for the best and brightest in public affairs, public relations, communications and media, with executives across all disciplines engaging in discussions surrounding emerging technologies and trends on how organizations around the world collect, disseminate, manage, and report information.
This Year’s PR Summit DC
The PR Summit DC, held on July 18th 2019, was a marked success by all measures. The summit was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, and featured a treasure trove of speakers, moderators and thought leaders from around the world.
Bridging the Divide: Reaching Boomers, Gen Xers and Millennials with Moderator Anne Loehr
In today’s modern society there has been much discussion surrounding the divide between Boomers, Gen Xers, and Millennials. This panel focused on how to effectively engage, connect with and reach different generations in an impactful and meaningful way. The overreaching goal was to learn how to leverage messaging, tactics, research and campaigns to effectively bridge this gap and work side by side with a multi-generational team, department or organization. Moderated by Anne Loehr, this panel resulted in robust and meaningful discussion and debate on the hot topic and uncovered key insights into how organizations can better approach the divide between generations.
About Anne Loehr
Named the “Generational Guru” by the Washington Post, Anne Loehr’s work has been featured in such major publications as the New York Times, CNN Money, Newsweek International, The Washington Post, Washingtonian, and National Geographic Traveler.
A graduate of Cornell University’s Hotel School, Loehr went on to own and manage a portfolio of successful, international, eco-friendly hotels and safari companies for over a decade.
After a successful exit from her hospitality businesses, Loehr went on to become a certified executive coach, facilitator, and the current SVP at the Center for Human Capital Innovation (CHCI) where she focuses on leadership development and human capital management consulting.
She writes for Fast Company and has co-authored two management books: Managing the Unmanageable: How to Motivate Even the Most Unruly Employee, and A Manager’s Guide to Coaching: Simple and Effective Ways to Get the Best Out of Your Employees.
